I have a variety of completely legal skills, talents, and commodities for which I occasionally get paid (and I would love to get paid for them more often!).  Contact me for scheduling and pricing details for any or all of the following.

  • I play the cello.  I’ve been doing this the longest (more than 75% of my life…), so it goes on the top. One of the two orchestras I play in is a paying gig, the other is a volunteer organization.  I play with several other musicians in a variety of small ensembles (duet, trio, quartet), and we can provide music for any occasion.  If you want a piece of music that isn’t currently in our repertoire, there might be a small fee attached to the acquisition and arrangement of that piece.
  • I do clerical work.  I’ve spent nearly half my life working as an administrative assistant.  While I don’t want to do this full-time, I’d be happy to serve as someone’s Personal Assistant on a part-time basis.
  • I do Hypnosis, and I’m good at what I do.  I love helping people improve their lives.  At this writing, I’ve never done a Stage Hypnosis show, but it’s definitely something I’ve been wanting to do for a long time, so that’s in the works.  I work mostly with individuals in the privacy of their own homes, but I also teach Self-Hypnosis classes for individuals or for groups.
  • I’m a Mary Kay Consultant.  Mary Kay’s mission is to Enrich Women’s Lives, and I love sharing the excellent skin care and cosmetic products with women!  I introduce women to the company, the business opportunity, and the products through in-home parties, workshops at our Success Center, and one-on-one consultations.  There’s never any obligation to buy, and it’s always LOTS of fun!
  • I’m an ordained non-denominational chaplain.  I can perform marriage ceremonies tailored to your specific tastes and preferences.
  • I do crochet.  There was a time when I made a ridiculous number of baby blankets in one year, and I got to a point where I could whip one out pretty quickly.  I haven’t done that for a while, but the skills are still there, and it’s still something that I enjoy.
  • I shoot cats.  No, that’s not what you probably think.  Years ago, my sister had a diabetic cat that required daily sub-cutaneous insulin injections, so that’s something I learned to do so her cat wouldn’t die when she went on vacation.  I also once helped a friend hold her cranky 9′ snake still so she could give it a shot to help treat it’s cold.  If you’re going on a trip and need someone to take care of your critters while you’re gone, I’d love to help with that.  I’m comfortable with most animals with fur, feathers or fins, and some with scales, but not many with more than four legs…
  • If there’s something else for which you think you’d like to pay me, contact me and let’s talk…
